3C’s adds $1,000, works along with 100 Squared, another non-profit organization and the Buddhist community in Houston, through Teach India, to provide food to 150 families in the leprosy colony located in Matigara, near Siliguri, India. These people usually resort to begging to provide food for their families; however, due to the COVID lockdown in India, they have no other means of getting food. It costs $20 to provide the basic staple for one family for one month.
