Doctor Lily Truong currently serves as a Trustee for the Alief Independent School District. She obtained a PhD in Natural Medicine. Her primary profession revolves around providing assistance to families with children diagnosed Autism. Her passion for social service is reflected in the over 10 years she has devoted to working with families. Additionally, she provides administrative support to the Harris County Department of Adult Education 3 nights a week in the ESL evening class program. In her free time, she enjoys taking oscar in volunteer work throughout the community. She previously served as a president of the University of Houston Asian Alumni Association. Dr. Truong believes that a key to unlocking a better community life is through Education. She advocates for improving English literacy and proficiency in the community. She is strong on Education.
Dr. Truong is married to her husband of over 35 years, John Truong. Together, they have three children, Michael, Anthony and Angela. Lily was recently promoted to grandmother 7 months ago with the birth of her first grandson whom she adores and loves very much.
Mr. Donald (Donnie) Chang was born in Trenton, New Jersey on February 15, 1950, but lived and was schooled in the Big Apple, NYC. He studied at Hunter College obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Business. He found his way to Houston, Texas in 1974 helping his parents launch the first authentic Chinese restaurant in the Galleria bringing Szechuan/Hunan cuisine to Houston.
Donnie followed his passion for real estate and became a licensed Realtor in 1976. Donnie has been associated with and/or owned several real estate companies. Since 1991, Donnie has been owner and President of ABC Realty Advisors a small boutique firm concentrating in only commercial real estate leasing, investment sales and development. His customer/client base is very diverse group from many walks of life and ethnic backgrounds. He earned the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) in 1991. He served as President of CCIM Gulf Coast Chapter in 1994 and a past board of director of Houston Association of Realtors from 1987 to 1989. Chang most recently was awarded NAR Realtor Emeritus status.
His hobbies include travelling, water sports, snow skiing, billiards, gardening, charitable giving. Donnie has four children, Basean, Jimmy, Sarah, Valerie and four grandsons.
Mr. Leo Slaton Rudd, Jr. graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1973 and went to work in music recording and concert production. He later became associated with a national insurance and investment company where he was a Regional Vice President. He consistently was a national top manager before beginning his own financial planning company specializing in high net worth individuals and publicly held corporations. He held NASD Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses. Upon leaving the insurance/investment arena after 25 years he began his own Houston-based real estate investment company anf manages his own properties and investment porfolio. He is semi-retired and is a consultant to JSC Federal Credit Union in Houston where he taintains a residence and family ties.
